This policy explains how GoViral Labs LLC ("GoViral", "we", "us"), a Utah limited liability company, handles information when you use the GoViral app and website (the "Service").
Information we collect
- Account info: name or username, email, date of birth, and profile details you provide.
- Content: videos, captions, comments, messages and other material you post.
- Usage data: views, watch time, likes, shares, follows, and how you interact with the Service.
- Device data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address and approximate location derived from it.
- Purchases: records of Boost pack purchases. Payments are processed by Apple or our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
- Brand deals: if you take part, information needed to pay you and comply with tax law.
How we use it
- To run, secure and improve the Service.
- To recommend videos and calculate reach and rankings based on engagement.
- To explain in plain language why your videos perform the way they do.
- To process Boosts and brand deal payouts.
- To communicate with you about your account and updates.
- To enforce our Terms and keep the community safe.
What is public
Your profile, public videos, comments, and ranking positions are visible to others. Choose carefully what you post.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting, analytics and payments), with brands when you choose to accept a deal, when required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
Retention
We keep information while your account is active and as needed for legal, safety and business purposes. When you delete your account we delete or de-identify your data within a reasonable time, unless we must keep it by law.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, delete content, or delete your account in the app. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor them.
Children
The Service is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Brand deals are available only to users 18 and older.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy and will note the date above. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
